As the elderly population grows, families will need assistance to find resources to help care for their loved ones. As our population ages, the demand for explanation of services will only continue to grow.
The Future
As more and more of us are living into these later years, we’re more likely to experience illnesses, disabilities, and dependency. In locating, recognizing, and compiling quality resources it will be possible to alleviate some of complications involved in finding a variety of resource choices for the individual.

The Word of God shows that old age can have promise, productivity, vitality, confidence and happiness.Aging by Design Ministry’s goal is to counsel and teach individuals, families, pastors, and counselors how to become more familiar with the aspects of aging. There are numerous ways in which an individual can maintain their independence, live a healthy lifestyle, and continue to have an active and productive life./span>

Look who’s getting older?
The “Baby Boomers” were born between 1946-1964 and will be turning 65 in 2011. In 1999 “Baby Boomers” represented almost 30% population. In 2030, 1 in every 5 Americans will be at least 65 years old. The fastest growing segment in American population is 85 and older. As the elderly population grows, families will need assistance to find resources, help in locating and previewing suitable care facilities. Statistics show that 4 out of every 10 people turning 65 will have the need of part or full-time nursing care at some point in their lives. As more and more of us are living into these later years, we’re more likely to experience chronic illnesses, disabilities, and dependency. Old age should be the crowning glory of a person’s life.
